Rip off!:
My wife scheduled an appointment just to find out pricing. When she scheduled the appointment she made it very clear to the receptionist that she only wanted to find out the costs before receiving any adjustments. She was told that they could provide that for her. When she arrived she went through the entire assessment and then received an adjustment. When she went to check out the receptionist informed her she would need to pay $265 for today's adjustment! My wife told the receptionist (same one she made the appt with) that she was told she wouldn't receive an adjustment, the receptionist's response was she didn't know he was going to do it. My wife told her she was upset yet the receptionist just kept quiet.
I called back shortly after my wife left to talk with the doctor. The receptionist then told me that he was busy and couldn't talk. I informed her that I wanted to talk to him before I filed a complaint with the BBB. The receptionist then informed me that the doctor wasn't informed of the conversation she had with the receptionist the day before about just wanting to know the pricing before receiving any treatment. The receptionist went on to explain how it's my wife's fault for not saying something to the doctor when he started to perform an adjustment! The receptionist also said that she would have gladly discussed it with my wife if she said something when she was checking out. My wife did say something but the receptionist just kept quiet. This is just bad business practice! I am filing a complaint with the BBB for this problem as either the receptionist is covering for her mistake or their practice is just to make a quick $$.
