Just another tax preparer:
He is very fast, like others said you wont even know he is doing correct or not as he never discusses anything from you. Collects all papers and within 10 mns he is done and he says he took care of everything ! Negetive thing is he does not care 2 hoots about your appointment time. People from his community (Pakistanis) just barge in anytime and he accomodates them gladly while others are waiting outside with appointments.

Irs taxes 2009:
Based upon my personal experience with Accutax – these are my complaints against them:

1) Very poor customer service (telephone calls are never returned and emails are ignored)
2) While preparing my IRS form 1040, they made a serious mistake by not putting a check mark in a box which cost me couple of thousand dollars in refund
3) They do NOT explain properly as to why a certain is being done in a certain way because they don’t have time for their customers
4) When they make an appointment with the customer, they just want your tax information / documents and you just leave. You come back later when they are done with your taxes.
I would not recommend any one to engage them for your taxes.

The worst service ever received:
He asked for all the tax related documents, but he just filed it by himslef without even showing me what he has done is ok with me or not. He didn't attache a few forms that are a must for the federal tax return. When I asked him he said "Its ok. It doesn't matter." But 3 months later I received a letter from IRS stating that they need the form 2106. I asked him for the form, but this time he gave a 2106 with a different dollar amount than that was in the original return. I asked him agian and got the same answer " doesn't matter". Again the IRS rejected my form 2106 saying that the dollar amounts dont match. Worst of all, they never return your call and I had to call atleast 10 times to talk to someone once. Avoid accutax like a plague.
