Hired to check 1st floor HVAC unite for potential leak and charge if necessary. The technician mistakenly checked my 2nd floor unit which I had already been tested and was working fine. Claimed it had a leak and said he added 3 LBS of coolant to the system which was working perfectly. When I received the $200 bill for the unauthorized repair to the wrong unit I called and they said a mistake was clearly made and they would correct it. Upon returning to inspect the right unit, Acors stated they would repair it for an additional $600 making my total repair cost $800. I got the repair done by another HVAC company for $450.
