My dishwasher has been broken and my home warranty company sent out Active Appliances to repair it. They've returned 3 times since September to fix the same problem. Now on the 4th time it's been broken, they have failed to call 30 minutes before arriving AND they've come BEFORE their 5 hour window of 12-5. Three times in a row, the company stated that the serviceman came at 11am for a noon-5 window which makes absolutely no sense. Even though they were instructed to call both a home and cell phone to confirm their arrival, they failed to called the cell phone AND they NEVER left a message on the home phone which would have allowed us to contact them back. The supervisor was extremely rude and told us that they would 'squeeze' us in and return from our REGULARLY scheduled noon-5 appointment. They have extremely poor business practices. Their staff is not trained well and doesn't even know to leave a message? How is it that 3 times in an 8 day period have they failed to show up for their 5 HOUR WINDOW? What a waste of 15 hours of our life, waiting around for this company. I have filed a complaint with our warranty company. I would prefer to give zero stars.

They were send out to my house by my home insurance company. All I can say is do not call them. They are rude and unprofessional, treating customers like animals. I will be filing a complaint with the insurance company and also with BBB

Please check out other reviews (like Yelp) to see what these guys are really about. There is speculation that the positive reviews are made by the company itself. Really, this is the worst service company I have ever dealt with.

I am only posting here to save others from the nightmare I have experienced. They don't know what they are doing, they are very rude, they drawn out jobs for weeks without any resolve. They really don't care and they have no sense of self respect. They should not be in business, but for some reason people still use them.

Please , please , please do not use this company. Even if your warranty company makes you call them, it will cost you less money and time to just get whatever it is fixed by a reputable company.

After almost 1 month without any resolution to an easy problem, I sent my warranty company several reviews that I found on yelp and they were more than willing to assign a different company to fix my appliance. You should do the same before you even have this company come to your house.
