Why I am suing this dealership:
Be careful when you buy ANY car from this dealership whether it is new, certified pre-owned or used. I purchased a "certified pre-owned" TL from Acura of Serramonte in Colma which they represented as a higher value car than a typical used car because it must pass a rigorous 150 point inspection. I found out a few days after I bought the car that it had been in a SIGNIFICANT accident. I contacted them to address the situation and was treated with a lack of integrity, complete disrespect compounding their utterly fraudalent sales practices. The DMV investigated my complaint and found out that the vehicle had well over $23K worth of body work done to it, and some of it by their own repair shop. The DMV and the District Attorney are further investigating the dealership and have widened the scope of their inquiry. The DMV is taking administrative action against their license because of what they did to me - they also lied to the DMV investigator. Despite all of this, Acura of Serramonte still believes they did nothing wrong and are above the law. I am in the process of suing them for damages.
