In addition, we work closely with the team at River's Edge who provides continuing counseling service for those who are dealing with addition and the people who love them. Number one: as a counselor I understand it is important for you to gain a trusting relationship with your group so you may let a little about your past drug use be known. However it doe not have to be shared every class and you should not interrupt a group member that is reading to tell a story of your past that was similar. Two: you cannot go around testing people that annoy you so that you can get a reaction that you do not like so you have something to write in your notes. Three: If a client is willing to give you any kind of UA ie; observed, unobserved, or mouth swab you should take it. WE pay for the class you get paid. I have felt like I have been trying and trying to prove my sobriety and new marijuana free life to this guy and he just doesn't trust anything I say. I know what I am and what I do but this guy will break rules and talk about c@!p he doesn't need to but will not help me succeed in completing this class. I have worked in the healthcare field for four years now and I hold my pee all the time, forgive me that I have ruined my ability to pee on comand, plus it's not like I have given you dirty freaking UA's or tell you that I just can;t pee every time I have a UA, I get that women in your life have done you wrong and you can't trust me because I'm a woman (I know this because he shares innapropriate stuff a lot) get over it. I'm not your girlfriend, you cannot test my personality or change me to fit what you think I should be. I might be an abrassive person but I have changed what I hated most...My drinking and my impulsive anger. Screw you I will not fill out a relapse form when I didn't relapse.
