However when asked for questions right after presenting the subject , it's hard to question anything as the matter was completely new to me. My suggestion would be to offer to read about a topic before the class and then the possibility of doubts or questions could be expected. I appreciate you patience at taking time and understanding each student's perspective of taking the class.
