Goes from great to terrible:
When we started using All-Bright Cleaning Service we were very happy with the service we received. Our home was always cleaned on the scheduled days, we would often come home to very nice notes from the cleaners, and other than having to remind them to close all doors when they left (because of a dog that liked to jump on clean beds), we had no complaints.
We chose their services based on reviews and our initial meeting with the owner who was very friendly and helpful. We also were home a few of the times they came to clean in the beginning and the workers were extremely friendly to both us and the dog (they seemed genuinely excited to see her).
As the months of the service have gone on, however, we have steadily seen a decline in the quality of the services. On two occasions we have come home to at least one bathroom that was not completed, they have started then stopped detailing one room per visit, they have failed to show up on the scheduled days on 3 occasions, they completely stopped cleaning the laundry room, and yesterday we came home and our entire living room was left un-vacuumed and the contents of our shower were merely thrown back in the bottom of the shower so that you could not even get in without picking everything up and putting it back in place. Even more, the last two cleanings they have left items in our house strewn about as if they literally ran out of the house when they had one minute left to complete the job.
We are not unreasonable, and we definitely understand that weather, employee shortages, etc. can cause issues with being able to show up on the scheduled days and/or provide great services, but as professionals, we at least call our clients and let them know when we cannot make an appointment. Each time they have failed to show up we did not receive any notice they were not coming, and on one occasion we had to scramble to then clean ourselves for guests that would be showing up 20 min from the time we arrived.
Aside from this, however, the most disappointing thing is the decrease in quality and friendliness of employees. It is disheartening to love something so much at the beginning and then continuously be disappointed as time goes on. There is a remarkable difference between our first couple months of using All-Bright and now. At this point it seems like the employees come in to get the bare minimum done in the least amount of time for the house to appear clean on the surface (and yesterday it wasn't even clean on the surface as the living room was not even vacuumed!). We have also been home on two occasions since the services declined, and it seems there was a complete change over of employees, and they are less than friendly. They barely acknowledged that we entered the home, looked at us as if we interrupted them, and then went on with their gossip as they worked.
Needless to say we are searching for a new cleaning service at this point and welcome any recommendations. I convinced my husband to stick with them for a while because we are two working professionals that just had a baby, which is why we enlisted their help in the first place, and we did not have time to interview new services. At this point, however, we feel like we are just throwing money away. So disappointing. I would have given them only one star, but because we were so happy in the beginning and I really liked one of the employees while I was on maternity leave, I gave them two.
