The worst!:
So we have 2 AC units covered under extended warranty through BJ's and these guys were contracted to fix the issues.
1ST!: The appointment window was for 8AM-4PM. These guys come at 720PM! Are you kidding me?! Had I not called at 234PM to see if we were still good to go, I wouldn't have found out they were planning on coming between 4-6pm. You're suppose to tell a customer of any changes. PERIOD! I called them at 5PM to say hey weather is going to be terrible, I rather not have the AC's pulled out the window and rain coming into the apartment. "No Worries. I will be there before 6"
2: The guy was SUPER rude. My girl has the conversation recorded. I "tried" explaining the situation to them and he kept talking over me. There's already a language barrier where english isn't his first language and I am not knocking it, but one of us should be speaking at a time, not both so that we come to an understanding.
3. All the guy does is, point his temp gauge at the vents less than 12" away and says, oh they're fine. Yea. NO C@!P! You're pointing at the source! The room isn't cooling and doesn't bring the room to temp when it's over 80 degrees outside. You came when the sun is setting and it just finished monsooning outside so of course the unit is going to seem fine. It's 30 degrees cooler outside now! Even though it was 75 outside, the room was still warm.
He stated the unit was now too small. It's a 12K BTU for 350sq feet. Reason we got it that big is because there's a bend in the room, so 12K is overkill. The bedroom has a 8k BTU for 150 sq Feet. So please, don't tell me the AC isn't big enough.
Totally unprofessional and I honestly wouldn't recommend them to an enemy.
