I spent thousands of dollars a year to take my animals here. And yes, we saw the "Good Vet".
The place is shabby. There are cats in cages in the restroom. They keep you waiting in a small examination room while they come and go. You wait while they look things up on the computer. They charge you for tests they haven't done yet.

Why did I choose them? They are a AAHA hospital (hard to believe with the dinginess) and there is a doctor on call around the clock. So I paid the high prices for peace of mind.

I will be choosing another vet on Monday.
We called for an emergency this weekend and he NEVER CALLED US BACK.

They can build their new clinic with someone else's money. We are done.

Brought my older border collie in for a quick checkup. Upon check-out the bill was $500 . This was just to have the vet look at him for 10 minutes. Seems that they automatically added in the additional hundreds for food she prescribed, cardio tests, blood tests and a bunch of other test that the vet never mentioned, nor performed. When we asked about all the added expense, (the vet was gone) the assistant advised us that the added expenses were for items the vet felt were necessary and should be performed. We were advised to "deny treatment" for any items billed but not performed, including the $60 bag of their own pet food. When I asked to speak to the vet she finally came out handed me a card with her info on one side and her husbands (he was an engineer) on the other. When my wife and I asked why all the added expense she got quite snide and told us that her education and all the modern equipment did not come cheap. As an example she showed us her lift scale. I explained to her that both my wife and I were quite well educated and did not appreciate the gouging. We asked that she please remove the additional $350 for items/services not performed including the food. After removing the recommended items they were still overpriced. Additionaly, we felt the staff was overly rough with our dog and could not even clip his nails. Our groomer and previous vet used to comment on his gentleness. All Pets was by far the worst veterinary clinic I have ever visited. I am AMAZED they are still around when I drive down Mason. According to a friend of mine I did not see the "Good Vet" that owns the practice. So if you do go, ask for the owner... The next vet, (still our vet) did not understand why all the testes werer recommended eithe
