Alloy Gutter Company was established by Dan Claypool in 1976 as a gutter installation service for southeast Michigan. Throughout the years Alloy has grown significantly, becoming one of Michigan’s largest gutter subcontractors.

This is the management of Alloy Gutter Company. We want to address the review from user BJ Capone containing libel and slander about our business. We have been in business for over 37 years and take quality, integrity, honesty, and value very seriously. We are licensed and insured and employ experienced professionals. I would like to encourage MLive users to remember that anyone can write reviews, and they may or may not be valid - in the case that I am addressing, the review I am referring to is not valid. You might note that this user has only reviewed one business and is not an active Mlive user, but perhaps someone with an ulterior motive.

This is a company that DOES NOT have your best interest in mind. They will send a crew out to your house for a estimate that same day and maybe even install them that same day, but you have to watch out for their workers. Lots of them have been caught smoking weed and popping pills while working on YOUR house. Not to mention if you order a special color, they will spray paint material and hang it. Then turn around and charge you more money for a special color like they actually went out and bought the material. They are looking to make a quick buck and you get the short end of the stick. I would recommend going with Great Lakes Gutter, Hansons, etc., because these people of Alloy are too shady.
