Doesn't deliver, tries to get more money, and bad business ethnics.:
Had invisalign administered by Dr. Alpan. When I agreed to have him do the work, I specifically asked if this would close my gaps between the teeth. He ensured that it would so we moved forward with this procedure. Expectations were set but never met. 3+ years later, 3 iterations (he paid for the 3rd one) of retainers, and $5,500 ($5,000 initial cost plus another $500 for second set of retainers), I'm still having issues. Requested a follow up meeting to address my dissatisfaction and he wants to collect $150 for consultation. You don't tell say you're going to do the work at a certain amount of time and cost but later try to squeeze more money and time from customer. I wouldn't be so upset had I gotten the results that I was expecting. This wasn't the case. His business practices are questionable, might even be illegal. I plan on pursuing legal action against him to collect the full refund and have another orthodontics finish his work.
I recommend those that are also unhappy with his work to do something about it. You can get in contact with his provider, Invisalign and file and complaint, report him to the Better Business Burean, post negative review in social media (facebook, twitter, yelp, yp.com, etc.), file complaint form on the dental board of California, and file a lawsuit. Don't let him think his better than you because he has a DR. in front of his name. He's not.
PS. I sent the office an email and they blocked my email. Sent another email to Anmery using another email account and got no response. I called requesting copies of my medical records and no response. Is this the kinda place you want to do business with? You make the choice but consider yourself warned.
