Alpharma, located off of Red Run Blvd., is a global provider of nutritional and pharmaceutical products for food-supplying animals, including poultry and livestock. The global company is a subsidiary of King Pharmaceuticals. Alpharma produces, markets and supplies about 100 medicated feed additive products that aim to to enhance the health and well-being of livestock and poultry.
