Bad/nasty customer service!:
I was sent to this store in need of a brace for tendinitis in my thumb/wrist. There was a young man who helped me (he was friendly). He showed me a brace and had me try it on in the store to make sure it fit. It didn't seem comfortable but he told me this is how the brace should feel on my wrist. I asked him what the return policy was and he told me to come back within 14 days. I told him I would probably be back within the next day or so because the brace was uncomfortable just from wearing it in the store with him. I wore the brace for a total of 10 minutes after that and then decided it was not a good fit once I got home. About 4 days later (after snowstorms stopped me from getting out sooner) I returned to the store and was greeted by an older gentleman. I told him I had a return from earlier in the week and he gave me a very nasty look. He took the brace out of the package and very dramatically threw it into the trash in front of me. He shook his head at me and said "give me your credit card. Why didn't you call me?" I did not understand what he was inferring. I asked him why would I call him to make a return? The young man who rang me up told me I had 14 days to make the return. He never said anything about contacting the store, and he knew that I was leaving with a product that I was unsure about. The older man told me that once it touches the skin it can't be returned. (During this back and forth, he was processing the return) I told him that the young man who helped me, put the brace on my wrist before I ever even said I would purchase it. I told him that the young man told me I had 14 days to make the return and made no mention of contacting the store prior to this. This store needs to work on their attitudes and their "no skin" policy. I was not impressed with how this man treated me, who I can only assume is the owner.
