Saturday night, dined al fresco, waited til last minute to make our reservation, but they still accommodated us. Jason was our server, very knowledgeable, funny, and prompt on service. Food was excellent, came out hot and seasoned perfectly. Our fourth time there and we'll definitely be returning.

After dining here in a large-group setting (12+ in our party), my wife & I returned to sample off the appetizer/antipasti. Outside seating is a BIG plus here, somewhat screened in from Colley. Service was great...attentive and paced just right. Our main reason for returning was to give the food a second chance; we were impressed with the starters on our last visit.
We ordered the meat & cheese antipasti tray, which included prosciutto, soppressata, coppa, parmigiano, fontina, ricotta salata , gorgonzola and black olives. A mighty mix & tasty accompaniment to some mid-range priced wine. Along with an order of calamari (yeah, they were so good the first trip we came back for more), we were stuffed.
The wine list here has a few great Italian finds...we enjoyed a Sangiovese and a hard-to-find Campagnian white, Greco di Tufo. I have not seen this varietal on any other restaurant's list in the region, aside from those that specialize in mega-winelist . Dry alternate to pinot gris

Every visit is wonderful! Warm welcomes at the door, friendly & knowledgable waitstaf, well-prepared dishes with the homemade touches you'd expect. Amalfi's is reasonably priced with a wide selection - even my sister who's Vegan is continually delighted & says the Vegan Meatballs are the best she's ever had. My mother claims the Gelato is the best since she was in Italy. Kudos to Amalfi's, a family favorite!
