American Lock & Key

Locks - Keys - Safes - Door Hardware - Accessories

HORRIBLE!! I was locked out of my apartment at 10pm on Friday. I called and a guy with a really thick accent answered with kids screaming in the background and he told me they wouldn't come out without my credit card number. I told him I wasn't comfortable giving that out over the phone, so he said fine and got my address. I waited 60 minutes overall (I called twice while I was waiting and the same guy told me the locksmoth was close each time). When I finally got fed up and called to cancel, the guy said very smugly (no joke) "Remember when you said you wouldn't give me your credit card number? That's why I didn't send anyone out." He left a single woman sitting alone at night because he was annoyed that I wasn't comfortable giving information over the phone. I honestly was scared they were going to come break into my house after that because what kind of company behaves like that? I'm filing a formal complaint against them with the Better Business Bureau.
