A positive experience:
I was very hesitant about going to a polygraph operator concerning whether or not I had cheated on my wife.
I knew I had not, but did not want to put my fate in the opinion of some stranger. Well, Mr. Patterson sat down with me and my wife and explained the whole process. He was very reassuring that if I had not cheated on her I would pass the polygraph. This guy is good, I was worried because a woman had come on to me at an office party and I seriously thought about following through, but did not. He worded the question to make sure I would not show a "false positive" reaction. Since my wife was present during the interview, she understood and agreed to this.
Well, I PASSED. My wife is happy and so am I.
