On the Menu: The kitchen here consists of an outdoor grill, and as such, the house specialties are hamburgers and spicy sausages.

Where to Sit: The covered back patio is a perfect spot to sip your brew on a warm day. Even better: It's totally dog-friendly.

With the look of an old warehouse and a "beer garden" in the parking lot, this little north Portland brewpub is another of Portland's old-school brewpubs, which means laid-back in the extreme. The beers are good, but the food is pretty limited.

Opened in December 1999 at 56 Greene St. in New York's SoHo neighborhood, the Jack Spade shop reflects the company's aesthetic. The unique 500 sq. foot spacee houses sturdy men's bags, accessories, books and curiosities
