I woke up one morning and went to my car to find that someone had attempted to steal my car. By breaking the lock and destroying the steering column the car was undrivable.

I had it towed to Andrew's on a Tuesday early morning. Insurance covered they accepted my car. Without having a loner for me to drive and I eplaining to them that I do not have coverage for a rental left there with no car or transportation to my job (was given a ride by one of their drivers.)

After a week of no calls from them I finally got ahold of Glenn in Service. He stated that it was my insurance company that they have been waiting on and that they did not accept estimates. First off - this was a LIE. I (a week after the break in mind you) received a check in the full amount of their estimate minus my deductible for the repairs. Secondly - my insurance company (being a small co.) went back in their records to state that they didn't receive a call from Andrew's until a week after they have already had my car! They sat on it for a week!! Hello - I don't have transportation. On top of this - this Glenn guy talks to me like he thinks I'm some sort of idiot who never had any experience with body shops -- little did he know I have worked for (2) dealerships in the past and know exactly how they function. BEWARE to ALL!!

Now 2 weeks later I still don't have my car and the service department and body shop are blaming each other to me and both are saying their part of the work is done - WHERE'S MY CAR? They say in a very casual and not securing feeling that maybe tomorrow. Yeah we'll see.

Not to mention that my insurance company is thinking they are paying for new parts when this guy from the body shop let it slip that I'm getting a used steering column AND.. on top of all this.....there has not been one apology for the long delay.

I want my car and I want them to stop blaming my insurance company (who Acuity inusrance rocks by the way).. and they need to stop treating me like I did something wrong when a little empathy would be nice since I am a victim of a break in and attempted robbery.

Customer service skills are a no go at Andrew Chevrolet!!!
