Whenever there's an obscure movie or foreign film I want to see, I can always count on the Angelika to have it playing. Where else could I see the Sound of Music on the big screen but the Angelika? An obscure kung fu movie will full action big screen? A Oscar nominee for Best Foreign Language film? All of these can usually be seen at the Angelika. Located in the Bayou place downtown, don't be intimidated by the parking. Just park downstairs and bring your ticket to the box office and they will stamp it so you don't get charged.
