I still don't have my dog back.:
My 5 YO lab has developed an extreme fear of thunderstorms. He only tries to run away when it has been storming. We have had ALOT of these lately. He figured out a way to stand on his hind legs and use his front paws to pull the door knob towards him to escape. (Only 250 words, I can't elaborate.) He has become an escape artist. I had started locking him in his kennel at night, but he bent the bars to escape, & broke a window to get out. 3x someone has found him and taken him to this Vet to read his chip. The 3rd time they called me at 9:30 at my work telling me I had to come right away or they would send him to the pound. I told her that I had a meeting, but could be there in an hour. She said it was too late and sent him to the County pound. I have left messages for 2 weeks at Animal Control and they won't return my calls. My 4 year old is constantly asking where his dog is. I fear they might have already put him to sleep. The last time he got out I saw that he climbed on the basement bar, slid open the window and pushed out the screen. Do they expect everyone to just leave their job and pick up their dog? I think an hour is a reasonable time period to ask. Now I don't know if we'll ever get out dog back.

caring emergency veterinary staff make for an excellent clinic:
my family has been taking my pet(s) to this place in emergency situations for about 15 years now. the staff is always helpful and caring. they comfort pet owners and are trustworthy. they work quickly and efficiently, while still going the extra step to assure clients' safe and speedy recovery.
