Set in a spare, old-fashioned Upper East Side storefront, this unassuming little newcomer with a window full of traditional birthday cakes and Continental pastries does a brisk business in croissants (which are merveilleux) and other goodies such as fruit tart; there are soups and sandwhiches on fresh baked bread too.

Cafe setting with wide assortment of fine baked goods and specialty pastries, and European favorites such as Black Forest Torte. Hand-roasted gourmet coffee and espresso drinks. Homemade foods, including soups, wraps, sandwiches and empanadas. We welcome large pastry orders one day in advance, wonderful old-school approach to cakes for a special occasions.
