Apartment Mart is the largest residential property management company in Bloomington-Normal. It was established in 1980 by Harold Hoeferle. In the early years, we managed property for several financial institutions, insurance companies, the State of Illinois, doctors, attorneys, businessmen, and local and out of town syndicates. By the mid 90s we began to develop our own apartment complexes. Wingover and The Ponds are two of the communities we created. We personally designed the floorplans and amenities to create first-class living environments. We have continued to develop property and now manage over 1,600 units. We also began providing corporate furnished apartments around 2000. We continue to work with large and small companies to provide temporary housing. Each company appreciates our ability to be flexible and tailor our corporate program to fit their unique housing needs. Our portfolio offers a wide variety of choices for all price ranges and housing types from efficiencies to houses. Property Maintenance, Inc. is our full-service maintenance company providing service each day and after hours. They have kept our oldest apartments up to date with remodeling projects and the others preserved with an elaborate preventative maintenance plan.
