I needed to get 3 silk shirts cleaned and I went here because it was recomended to me by a friend. I took my shirts in and the man at the counter was very nice and I felt good about leaving my stuff in their hands. When I went to to pick them up, the lady couldn't look up my name or anything in the system and took her forever to find my stuff. Then I was shocked at the price, it was so expensive for what I needed. Returned home to find one silk shirt snagged all the way down the front, and another one that is silk tube top with giant safety pins stuck through it on both sides to hold it on the hanger! There are now 2 holes in my shirt. Needless to say I will never be going back. They are expensive and they don't even take care of your clothes! I do not recommend this place to anyone.

I recently decided to try Apollo Cleaners on Broadway that is close to our home in Tempe. The first time I attempted to drop off a single blouse it was a very frustrating experience. The woman behind the counter didn't seem to understand what I wanted. When I went back to pick it up to my dismay all of my jeweled buttons were missing, the item was dingy and no starch had been applied. So the redid the item for me. The owner was there when I went to pick it up. She seemed very nice. I encouraged my husband to drop off his next few items and then I also went back to drop off a formal gown I recently wore in a wedding. Once again when I attempted to communicate to their employee if they could clean it the conversation was extemely strained. I told her I was just trying to find out if they could clean a dress that had a broach attached. It seemed she had me confused with another customer. She continued to inform me she didn't care and that perhaps I didn't like mexican people. I have been raised within a mexian family since I was very young. I was shocked that she would make such an unprofessional comment to a customer. Sadly enough, when I tried to inform the owner of the exchange she said, I will defend our employee. Unbelievable. I own two businsses in the valley and would not tolerate one of my employees speaking to my clients in such a disrespectful manner. I love my "mexican family" who helped raise me after my Mother died. I guess she assumed because I am caucasion that I was racist. All of this had absolutely no bearing on the issue of the dry cleaning but perhaps the employee makes a very poor assumption when she has poor dealings with customers it is due to her race. Sad.
