The glittering glass box across the street from the Prudential Center holds two floors of high-tech toys, with the Genius Bar on the third floor. A madhouse since it opened in 2008, the Boston store is open Monday through Saturday 9am to 10pm, Sunday 11am to 7pm. The Cambridge location is smaller and in a mall -- a plus or a minus, depending on your tastes.
