Shortly after we sat down at our non smoking table, I noticed that I smelled cigarette smoke. Our waitress came immediately after, and we ordered our drinks. I ordered the Appetizer Sampler, mainly because it was after 9pm and all appetizers were half off. The Appetizer Sampler consists of four mozzarella sticks and marinara sauce, boneless buffalo wings and ranch dressing, a chicken quesadilla and salsa, and spinach artichoke dip which I substituted with a cheese dip. As expected the meal was okay. I especially liked my mozzarella sticks and marinara sauce. The sauce wasn’t too salty and it was just warm enough. Applebee’s isn’t exactly a five-star restaurant, so expectations weren’t high. My food was hot, and I did eat most of it. However, I did notice that one of my buffalo wings wasn’t covered all the way with the buffalo sauce and when I bit into one of them, I found a bone. Imagine if I would have bit down so hard that I chipped a tooth, or even worse, choked on it.
