I cannot say enough good things about applebrook. I think I have hit every message forum online about them. After having some bad experience with kennels i have finally found one that caters to the needs of my dog. The staff is friendly and obviosly love their job. The facility is older but very clean and the dogs get to interact with other dogs. I have read a few negative reviews (only 2) and can not see where they are coming from. My dog came home healthy and happy, but I could see how kennel cough can be a problem. Like the common cold (and for anyone with a kid in daycare you can agree) if you want your dog to interact with others it is a risk you must be willing to take. They seem to do everything in their power to curb this though. They keep it very clean, require vaccintaions, and even have an insurance program so that if your pet does get a cold they reimburse most of the vet bill. Can't get more caring than that.
