I contacted Aros to fix three outdoor lights that weren't working. Two entry level technicians showed up (non-licensed) and spent 3-4 hours troubleshooting. They couldn't fix the problem and ended up calling the master electrician (owner) to help. Oscar spent one hour changing two light bulbs and replacing two GFI outlets. He then handed me a bill for $750. I told Oscar it's his responsibility to train student electricians and not his customer's responsibility to pay electrician prices for students. A month later the lights burned out again, I was back to square one, and out $750. I called Oscar and mentioned he is expected to warranty such expensive work. He told me he would stop back in two weeks after his vacation. Thats the last I saw of Oscar. Lessons learned: If students show up to do electrician work, stop right there and turn them away.
