One of the theatre's biggest draws, however, is their "Rocky Horror Picture Show" performance, which happens every Saturday at midnight and can run until 3 or 4 in the morning.

The fully restored Historic Art Theatre is the oldest operating single screen house in Long Beach. This art deco style historical landmark (circa 1924) is famous for its screening of the most imaginative and stimulating independent, documentary, animated, alternative, and foreign language films.

This Art Deco Gem has been continuously serving the community since 1924, with film, live events and private parties. Completely renewed in 2009 with $1M in improvements and the addition of Gourmet Wine and Coffee Bars, The Art is again Ready for Her Close-up! A completely unique experience of stepping back in time but with the best in Hi-Tech sound and vision!
