Pick anyone else:
ASEC (Gregory Bickle) is completely incapable of doing any construction work in an honest and lawful way. My house had 2% asbestos in all of the drywall samples that were tested and we needed to have it all remediated prior to the house being demolished. Instead of mitigating the asbestos, Gregory started just tearing the house down without getting a permit from the city, or the state (as required by law). Now I am left with a half demolished house and there is a major asbestos spill that is going to cost almost triple the original estimate to clean up.

Earlier this month I found that Gregory is in Boulder county jail, which is probably best for any other jobs that he's halfway through ruining.

Before hiring ASEC, or any contractors considering hiring Gregory read these:

Outrageous conduct:
I was interested in having Terry Nelson, a certified radon mitigation contractor, install a new radon fan because mine was getting old and noisy. He said he would have to check the system first. I was told he would make an appointment at my convenience to come out and check things out and then install the fan if the system was okay. I emailed several times to request he make an appointment and did not hear back from him so wasn't sure he was still interested in the job. Then one day while I was out he sent a relative of his who was not a certified radon mitigation contractor to install a fan. The system was not checked and eventually was found to be problematic so the fan should never have been installed without making some corrections. The fan did not run and showed strange stains, indicating it was likely used upon installation. The existing fan was removed, also without my knowledge and consent, and was broken. Nelson was unwilling to correct the situation and started sending abusive and threatening emails and demanding payment for the non-functional fan he was never authorized to install. I had to call law enforcement several times because of his abuse. I complained to the BBB and they weren't very helpful but did eventually tell him that they would take his accreditation away if he did not agree to binding arbitration. He was told by the arbitrator that there was no contract and to make arrangements with me to return my fan to me and I to return the one his relative installed. I was not willing to have direct contact with him because of all his abuse so I arranged for an official from the state radon mitigation contractor certification program to communicate with him in an attempt to work something out. He was uncooperative and in violation of orders from both myself and law enforcement, and in violation of the arbitration agreement, he sent two guys out to seize the fan from private property, failed to make any effort to return mine, and left a big hole in my wall. Law enforcement came out and went after the guys and tried to seal off the hole as best they could, knowing if snow or rain got into the crawlspace that could create serious problems such as mold. Throughout Nelson behaved in an abusive and threatening manner, showed no respect for personal or property boundaries, disobeyed law enforcement officials, the BBB, violated the BBB arbitration agreement, failed to take any responsibility of any kind for his role in the problem, blamed everyone else for the consequences of his own behavior, and appeared to have the attitude that he could do whatever he pleased whenever and however he pleased on other peoples' private property. He caused months of stress and trouble, plus left me exposed to a deadly gas. There are some very good certified radon mitigation contractors, but he is not one of them.
