Damaged my house< no insurance!:
I hired Atlantic Power Cleaning to wash my house and clean the gutters. They sent two guys to do the job. One of them, a young man in his early 20's, finished before the other and decided to power wash my walkway which was not in my contract. The power washing damaged the entire walkway by pushing sand out from underneath and spreading the pavers out to the sides. I immediately contacted the company and they sent the same two people out to a@!%s the damage. Their solution was that they wanted to fill in the big gaps with bags of sand!
After weeks of being promised by the owner that he would come out, but never showing up, he finally came and said my walkway was old and he's not fixing it! He then told me everyone who works for him has 30 years experience. I told him the one of the guys that did the job was a very young guy, and he said "he's not young, he's 24". REALLY! Your 24 year old employee has 30 years experience???
My walkway is completely RUINED and the owner of the company REFUSED to give me the name of his insurance company. I contacted my own insurance company who is looking into trying to find out who they are insured with. They also refused to give my insurance rep the name of their insurance company, but when they did the initial search of the company they said they could not even find any evidence that they pay workmans comp. ins. on their employees.
