Kevin Renner took 2nd best in the nation!
Club Assist hosted all of the competing Technicians from Arizona, Colorado, NCNU, and Washington for a day at the track at Infineon Raceway in Sonoma, CA on Wednesday. The Technicians found it to be a great stress reliever and a thrilling experience as they were taught by a professional driver in the Mitsubishi Evolution Experience program. Club Assist was so pleased to be able to include Geoff Martin [also from Auto Services in Colorado Springs] in this day at the track experience.
"The 2012 Club Assist Battery Service Skills Challenge™ National competition concluded Tuesday, March 27th during the Club Assist International Battery Conference in San Francisco, CA. Five clubs qualified based on the rigorous 75% testing-to-opportunity rate metric which had to be maintained through Q4 2011. AAA Colorado was proudly represented by Kevin Lee Renner from Auto Services in Colorado Springs, CO. Kevin performed outstandingly well and made a strong impression with the conference attendees [190 people] which represented nearly every AAA/CAA and other motoring clubs from around the world. The pressure of having so many people observe the competition was great but Kevin shined. Kevin finished 2nd Best in the Nation.
The Club Assist Battery Service Skills Challenge™ is a live role-play competition where Technicians demonstrate their technical and customer service skills. Each Technician is judged by two technical judges and a member service judge. The club-level competition which was held in October 2011 saw Kevin Renner earn the Best in the Club.”
“I was proud to personally witness Kevin’s stellar performance at the final competition. I’ve been watching Kevin for over a year now as we has taken Auto Services to the next level. He continues to amaze me with his skill but also his dedication and passion for the business and AAA Colorado’s members.
