I was looking where to get my NO REVERSE fixed on my BMW 330I 2001 ZF-5HP-19 RWD transmission. So I found a shop called Automatic Performance on SFBY craigslist. I called and spoke with Joe, he sounded very knowledgeable and honest. He gave me a quote over the phone for $1600 to $1800 to fix my transmission and that it would take 3-5 days to do the job. Joe also told me that if there was some type of electrical problem it might cost me a bit more. I was so glad that I had found someone to fix my transmission at a reasonable rate as I had been quoted in other shops between $2400 and $3500. I finally dropped of my car. Two days later I gave Joe a call to see how things were going. Joe told me that they had pulled out my transmission and found that the DG drum and F drum had been damaged. Joe recommended that I replace both electrical speed sensors inside the transmission which would cost $79 each. Joe also told me that the final price out the door cost would be $1900. So I gave Joe the green light to do the job. The next day Angie (cashier) from the shop gave me a call and told me that I could pick up my car. When I got to the shop Joe greeted me and showed me the parts that he replaced. He then took me on a test drive to see how my car was running. The car felt/sounded great. So I paid the bill of $1900 and took off on my newly rebuild transmission. I give this place A+A+A+ for service and Great Price on rebuilding my transmission. I highly recommend Automatic Performance shop to anyone who needs work done on their transmission.
