My boyfriend recently moved and used Aviv Movers and Storage to move his items to his new place. He purchased a deal for $50 towards $100 worth of service.

Movers were on time and were very efficient. Everything was moved to the new apartment carefully and in a timely manner. All items were treated with care and movers were very easy to work with and helpful. They were really nice guys and very professional!

I'm never in a good mood when I have to move, and I was especially bitter this time since I had got to move a few blocks away and I had no choice to call in for the movers because my friends were unwilling to help. But the movers from Aviv Moving and Storage arrived with a cup o' cheer for me, and got 'er done with no pain. I have a large pullout sofa that weighs a metric ton, which I thought had no chance of making it into my new place. I put my faith in the crew and they did not disappoint. I can say they are competent and will make short work out of your move. My only concern was that for some reason they did not accept card payment on that day and I had to go to my bank and get a cashier’s cheque prepared for them . Overall the moving experience was good.

The two men who showed up for my move were *amazing*! They took care of all my possessions (most of which was boxed, but there was also a huge sofa, etc). They asked me if I wanted them to wrap up the sofa to protect it, explaining they would charge me for tape if I said yes. I said yes -- it's a nice couch -- and the total charge for duct tape was less than $10 even though they used rolls of the stuff. They were super friendly, really pleasant to deal with, and did a fantastic and quick job. I've already recommended them to friends who have had an equally positive experience.

Sometimes you get the feeling that your movers are actually felons playing dress up. That wasn't the case with Aviv. All the employees assisting me move were professional and accommodating.

They arrived on time, were quick about figuring out logistics (what to take first, last, etc.), and their prices are hard to beat.

I've used other movers before but they've never completed the job with the quickness and efficiency that Aviv's did. I hope (crossing my fingers) that I won't need them again anytime soon, but who knows in this crazy city. At least now I know who to call.
