Right next to equally laid back Bare Bones Cafe, this Belmont bar is an easy place to put back a few pints and play some pinball. Happy hour is daily 4-7pm, but you can get the house "birds and bees" special anytime (a Mickey's and shot of Old Crow for $5). Several outdoor picnic tables along quiet SE 29th for summer afternoon drinking.

Editorial Reviews

This casual Belmont Cafe puts care into:
This casual Belmont Cafe puts care into their menu and food, and is a good spot for a mellow breakfast or lunch. Lots of good veggie options, like the roasted garlic and basil hummus sandwich. Try the homemade granola with dried cherries and pumpkin seeds. Happy hour daily 3-6, lots of $5 cocktail specials.

Head to Bare Bones for a hearty:
Head to Bare Bones for a hearty breakfast without the typical lines. On weekends Bare Bones offers a special brunch menu, but the best option is the always-available Build Your Own breakfast sandwiches with inventive options such as asparagus, toffuti and basil.

Like the precursory bar of the same:
Like the precursory bar of the same name, check out this spot for a no-frills hangout on Belmont. The fare is stick-to-your-ribs hearty with many vegan options available.
