New owners make a go of the former Loreley space, offering a moderately priced menu of Caribbean-leaning fare – think housemade beef patties, jerk chicken and a blackened catfish sandwich – accompanied by fun, tropically accented cocktails; the cavernous-for-the-nabe space has a stylish oceanside bar feel, with colorful beach chairs on the spacious covered patio completing the picture.
Former gas station beneath the BQE turned cocktail and jerk chicken yard. Spacious outdoor patio good for buckets of beer and packs of smokes. Large awning and sky-lit inside protect from the elements. Jerk spice is all over the menu, from chicken to fries to catfish sandwiches. Craft cocktails, shaken and stirred, are done with care.
