Bergamot Station was originally a Red Car depot, part of the 1,000-mile Pacific Electric Railway system that had its heyday in the 1920s. (Believe it or not, L.A. was once a model for mass transit!) Today, the complex contains over 30 art galleries, the Santa Monica Art Museum, shops and this convenient little eatery. In the morning, Bergamot Café serves breakfasts and La Brea Bakery pastries....
