Berro Mismanagement:
1.) Don't call their office, they'll keep you on hold or tell you the manager you're looking for is gone for a few hours...or just wait for you to hang up, which ever gets you off the line.

2.) Don't expect timely repairs, they don't care or have spread themselves too thin.

3.) Their supervisor is very rude and after dodging your calls, she will accuse you of being wrong (defensive maneuvers) for whatever comes off the top of her head: irresponsible.

4.) The property I live in may look nice from the outside, but the inside is falling apart and they do not have you fill a form indicating the condition of the property upon moving in, so you won't be getting your deposit back.

5.) Their "Company Response" should give you a feel for their service and management: in no way did they address the prior complaint, they simply put out a cover letter of supposed Letters of Recommendation.

Do not rent from Berro!:
i've had bad experiencces with Berro, first of all they lost my extra copy of my apartment key. The supervisor Norma is very very rude, and will get mad if you call her office... she said "i am too busy to talk to tenants, tell your manager"... my manager never seams to have a clue on what to do!
Berro only cares about how the apartments look on the outside rather than the inside. They took down our doors when no one was home without any notice. Staff is unprofessional, will not cooperate, and very rude...My advice...Dont rent from BERRO...so many people cant be wrong!!!!

Our company has managed both income property, such as rental apartments and homes, as well as common interest developments (CIDs), for over 33 years in the South Bay area of Los Angeles County, California.

We currently manage thousands of units for investors as well as for homeowners associations.

We have two divisions – one for rentals, and one for common interest developments (CIDs), such as condominiums, cooperatives and planned unit developments. In this capacity we serve as agents for all the property owners managing the property for them.

We realize that review sites such as yours provide the public with the opportunity for comment and while we respect the freedom of speech and fair comment, we would argue that some aspects of this site are unfair as applied to a service business such as ours in a variety of aspects:

1. We do not manufacture or sell a product. We provide a service. Our clients are primarily the property owners with whom we have a contract and are not the tenants per se. That is the nature of our retention and we cannot change that.

2. Because the service our clients provide is that of housing, we are obligated to comply with all applicable local, state and federal housing statutes and privacy laws, and would not seek to do otherwise. Accordingly, this at times inhibits our ability to respond in our own defense and in defense of our clients to each individual complaint such as those set forth below in a public forum such as this. To so respond in detail could be found to interfere with the complaining individual’s privacy and would create even more controversy, so as much as we may wish to do so we cannot go into any more detail about these complaints.

3. That said, we are concerned not only for ourselves but for our colleagues in the property management business about the particular format being used on this site which does not take into account the aspects of our business listed above.

In hardcopy we have numerous Letters of Recommendation which are positive regarding our firm and interested customers may come by our offices to read them,
