Brought my 2010 Beetle Convertable in for warranty service three seperate times over a three year period - my convertable top would not operate properly. Each time they found everything worked properly. One month beyond the 36 month warranty period I brought my car in again for the convertable top service. This time they found that a micro chip needed to be replaced - but at my expense. To make a long and irritating story short, I had to call the VW Rep who was very nice and offered to pay for all the labor and offered me a $150 service voucher to cover the $92 I spent for the INITIAL EXAM COST AND PART I PURCHASED. Bottom Line - It would appear to me that the Billco Motors service shop would rather the customer "pay out of pocket" at there higher service repair rates than the lower warranty service rates. Until Billco Motors changes, buy your VW from Hillcrest.
