The look here is that of a sedate and cozy French bistro. House-made pâté with onion marmalade, a sturdy onion soup and a lamb salad are well made. The cassoulet is a sure bet. Wine flights are appealing. Desserts include old standbys like tarte Tatin and crème brûlée.
That unassuming French bistro you just now noticed though it's been on the same corner for 20 years. Quiet enough for your murmured sweet nothings.
