Blanca is now helmed by San Francisco chef Gavin Schmidt, who has worked in some of the Golden Gate city's finest kitchens like Aqua, Elisabeth Daniel, the Fifth Floor and Coi. With his culinary sights set on San Diego, Schmidt brings his innovative “farm to table” approach to Blanca with plans to create a more affordable menu that showcases the abundance of local ingredients.
