bait and switch:
I contacted this company after being referred to them by a blind manufacture. I had a number (11) blinds that needed repair under warranty and was told to use a local retailer for the repairs. I contacted this company and told the young lady that I had some blinds that needed repaired and was told by the manufacture that it would be under warranty. I asked her what they would charge. She told me $45 for a service call and they would send them off for repairs. I then asked her how much to come pick them up and take them and then put them back up. She asked how many and I told her 4 but there may be more I had to inspect them all. She told me it was the same price just the cost of a service call. I set up an appointment and she showed up. She took down all the blinds and left. She called me 2 hours later to tell me she forgot 2 blinds and needed to come back for them. I rearranged my day and meet her back at the house. She then did not show up. I had to call the next day and make more arrangements for her to come back. after about a week they called and told me and told me they had them back but told me due to the extent of the work it takes to take down and put up the blinds that my new charge was $300. I asked them why I was not told about this in the beginning and they said the lady had made a mistake. It was $45 service call and $10 a blind to take down and another $10 to put them up per blind. I told them to forget about putting them up I can do it. They said that’s fine and they needed $155 before giving my blinds back to me. I asked why not the $45 and they told me it was $45 service call and $10 a blind to take them down. I argued a bit with them and the owner called me "one of those people who want something for nothing" . I ended up paying them $155 to get my blinds back from them. they pulled a true bait and switch and should have told me about the extra fees ahead of time. Or at least called and notified me of the mistake when it was discovered. I will never do business with them again and will tell all my friends to do the same.
