We are a Historical Home the was built and owned by William Blount, who was the governor of the Southwest Territory and played a leading role in helping the territory gain admission to the U.S. as the State of Tennessee.

Tours are at the top of every hour. Tuesday - Friday tours begin at 10AM with the last tour of the day starting at 4PM. Saturdays we are open from 10am - 2 pm, with the last tour leaving at 1pm. The Blount Gardens are open to the public during business hours.
History William Blount chose to build his mansion in Knoxville after signing the Treaty of the Holston just a few yards away from the Mansion's location.
