Blue Point Coastal Cuisine Restaurant Review:
Set in the middle of the Gaslamp Quarter, this sleek spot is one of the many Cohn-family restaurants that packs 'em in all over town. Dark wood, high-backed booths and (perhaps) the extensive martini list try to lend a sense of intimacy to the usually overcrowded dining room. The menu offers a bit of everything for seafood lovers: fresh oysters, tuna sashimi, shrimp cocktails and osetra caviar....
Blue Point is a 1940s style New York supper club featuring great martinis, the freshest seafood and prime aged beef. The dining room is lined with cherry wood and Frank Sinatra music is overhead.
