I have been going to Mr. Bodiford for about a year now, ever since I began going I have experienced many odd car issues as well as billing issues. On this particular event, a week ago I brought my vehicle in and was quoted 80$ for a repair to get my steering wheel adjusted because the automatic feature inside had broke and my wheel was at an upright position. I also asked if he could check out 2 other minor issues as well. He said he would without mentioning anything about labor hours. I never got any documentation on the repair. A week after I brought it in (I literally called him everyday and he was never able to answer my calls nor call me back) I called him and explained that I did not want the work done, well conveniently he managed to get it done and claimed it was 240 dollars to pick it up... I never approved that, never got a phone call or any documentation approving the 240 dollar repair. I feel incredibly wronged in this situation. Never in my life have I had my car repaired without knowing an exact amount... He will not return my vehicle until I pay.... I also believe that he is not certified to work on all the vehicles he claims to be (or the technicians aren't). My car repairs have always been odd and whenever I leave something else goes wrong within a month or so. I have also spoken to others who have had very similar experiences with this.
