Stay away from this place:
Over the phone, Daniel seems to be OK. I called and gave him the specs for the tires for my car, and within 60 seconds he was back on the phone telling me that he had two of them. One was priced at $60 and the other at $65 (mounting included). Happy with the price he quoted, I was over there within an hour ready to have my left front tire replaced.

I pulled in and within five minutes, Tomas (one of the employees of Bonanza) began providing the service I needed for my vehicle. I gave him my specs and he went to pull it from the shelves. He even showed me that they had two tires, again, one for $60 and another for $65. Since I was planning on getting a full set of tires within two months, I knew the cheaper tire would do for now. I asked him to pull the $60 tire, and the work began.

It was at that moment that I went to Daniel and asked him about pricing and availability for a full set of brand new tires for my car. Knowing that it is not easy to find tires for the car I have, I have to order them and start my process early. Finding a business that can get my tires and price them affordably is very important for me. Bonanza tires seemed to be the place since the estimated price was to my liking.

As I walked toward the back of my car I just happened to notice that there was a screw in my rear left-side tire. Darn, I was not prepared to purchase two tires today, but it seemed like I would have to. It was then that Daniel told me he could just apply a permanent patch and it would be fine. The cost would be $10, which was fine with me.

Tomas took off the front left tire and replaced it with the used tire I was about to purchase. He even put air in my spare tire (without my prompting or asking). Now here is where the quality of service began to rapidly decline...

I had him roll my spare tire to me so I could put it in the trunk myself and allow Tomas to get back to my front left tire. While I was in my trunk I noticed that my car was shaking a bit (and I didn't see Tomas at the left rear tire of my car) but I didn't pay it too much attention. As I emerged from my trunk, Tomas immediately told me that he was going to replace my front right tire since it was no good - already holding my tire in his hands. The shaking I felt was Tomas removing my front right tire without my permission.

Hmmmm, I know I came in for my front left tire (since it had a donut on it), and I noticed my rear left tire had a nail in it too, but my front right tire? I never mentioned that one at all, and furthermore, I never asked anyone to check or remove that tire, so why is my tire off my car?

They were trying to upsell me using scare tactics. OK, that's cool, but I work in advertising so telling me that my tire is no good and it's dangerous for me to continue driving on it is not going to work on me. I had Tomas put my right front tire back on my car, and I informed him that I was already planning on purchasing a full set of tires from this place in a month or two.

After Tomas changed my front left tire, returned my front right tire, and patched up my rear left tire I went to the counter to pay Daniel for the services and product provided. The total should have been $70 ($60 for the tire and $10 for the patch).

Here is what Daniel says to me, "You have the two tires at $60 and $65, and $14 for the patch."

"What?! He only put one tire on my car and you told me the patch was $10."

From that instance the conversation escalated quickly and he began yelling at me, calling me a liar and even put words in my mouth telling me that I told him to check my right front tire. That's strange; I didn't even know my front tire had a problem with it so how would I know to tell them to take it off and check it.

He yelled and cursed at me when I told him that the prices he quoted me were not the prices he was trying to charge me now that it was time to settle up. First, he wanted to charge me for a tire that was NOT even put on my car. Then he wanted to charge me $65 for the $60 tire. Daniel's argument was that Tomas put the more expensive one on my car.

Who's fault is that? I told him on the phone that I only wanted the cheaper tire, and I also told Tomas the same thing. I watched him take down the $60 tire so how on Earth could you possibly charge me for a product that was not given to me?

The third thing was he now wanted to charge me $14 for the patch job when he originally quoted me $10. Growing upset with this bait and switch style of business, I told him that I was not going to pay anything more than what he quoted me, and that I would be writing a review to reflect this horrible service. It was at that moment when he yelled, "I'm just going to take my f**king tire off your car. Since you still haven't paid for it yet, the tire is mine. And since you're going to write a bad review I don't have to sell it to you."

"I am trying to pay for it, but you won't take my money."

"I don't have to and I will not take your money. You can go down the street and get a tire from someone else." He slammed my credit card on the counter, and stormed off. At that moment he instructed Tomas to remove the tire from my car. I was completely shocked at this total lack of respect and customer service. Is this really how you treat your customers? Even his mother got in on it and accused me of lying! What?! You weren't here to witness the conversation so where is this coming from?

Luckily, I was able to talk Tomas into leaving the tire on, while I paid and promptly left. I want no parts of this business. I can see I'm not the only one was encountered the manager's/owner's disrespectful behavior. I don't care how good his prices are, but I will never do business with or deal with him again.
