Branson is unresponsive:
We selected Branson for three reasons: 1. Neighbors used them and had no complaints. 2. They were well-established and local. 3. The were $500 cheaper than the next highest bidder. We have ordered our windows but they have not yet arrived.
I'm regretting the decision. I should have heeded the warning signs:
1. Other window companies were very responsive over email and appeared anxious for our business, Branson required a confirmation over the phone before they would come out.
2. Other window companies said "we'll be at your house at x o'clock". Branson said "we'll be there between x and x:30".
3. Other companies emailed us brochures and sample photos of products. Branson couldn't.
4. After I gave Branson 50% deposit, they said they'd call tomorrow to schedule installation. Five days later, I still hadn't heard from them so I stopped by. They claimed they were waiting to hear from manufacturer and that they, for sure, would call me on Tuesday. Now it's Wednesday and I still haven't heard from them. Arrgh!
I should have picked up on their lack of responsibility from the beginning. Live and learn
