Brewers & owner Tim make promises then break them!:
I paid top dollar for a new AC unit with a 10 year "no hassle" warranty installed June 17th of 2010. The compressor goes on a weekend (7/9/2011) less than 13 months after install. After much discussion of a warranty that evidentally wasn't really what was explained to me, I am told the after hours fee of $150 will be waived this ONE time (which includes part warehouse fee I was specifically told). However, when I actually need a part from the warehouse, then "it will be $100 to do it today ma'am". In addition to this deception, I was treated disrespectfully not only by customer service rep, but by owner himself, Tim. Both cut me off repeatedly and talked down to me as if I were undeserving of their respect. I thought for sure the owner would want to know of the disrespect from his rep, but once he treated me with such disdain, I knew the source of this poor customer service. I know I upset THEIR weekend, but what about me? Never did I get so much as an apology for a brand new unit (that I had just had serviced for normal maintenance a month ago) would go. SRP recommended this company to me and I will never use them again. I caution all who consider going into business with them: they do not stand behind their word, and do not fulfill on their promises. PS - I have never written comments on any kind of a board like this. I am really not that kind of a person. This situation deserves it. BREWERS treats its customers great up until you need something, beware of the deceit.
