Save yourself the GRIEF and avoid!!!:
Despite reading all the bad ratings, I decided to give them a chance anyway. My first time there, all the associates looked at me in a fairly disgusted manner (many people would call me a "goth" or "punk") but you still don't treat customers like that!
The consultant (Blaire) was nice enough at first, but when I was trying on the dresses, she decided to argue with me about my wanting to lose weight (not just for the wedding...I put on some "happy weight" w/ my fiance). She told me my doctor must have been a quack to tell me it was okay to lose 20 lbs.
I came back again, after trying on another dress at another store, trying to decide between the two. "Tish" - one of the managers assisted me this time, along with her trainee. She agreed that Blaire's comments were something that had gotten her in trouble before. While I was trying on the dress, and a few my sister had picked out Tish proceeded to talk to my sister and tell her that she DIDN'T need to lose any weight. My sister KNOW she has to lose at least 30 lbs. to be at a healthy weight. Every doctor has commented on this.

But besides all that, once I decided I wanted a dress from them, they tried to get me to order a dress 2 sizes too big! I had been to 3 bridal stores now and they ALL sized me at an 8. Tish insisted that my dress' designer was different, that it ran small. So she talked me into agreeing to a 10.
I called right after I left the store and told them not to put the order through, that I wasn't comfortable with the size. I called back the next day to try to cancel the order and the girl who answered the phone spent 5 minutes checking, only to tell me that because I put money down on it, it was a final sale. I asked her if she knew that was the policy, why she had to check. She said sometimes she could get a refund, depending on the circumstances. I asked what those circumstances were, and she wouldn't say.
All in all I talked to 4 different people: one told me my order had already been submitted, two told me my order wasn't submitted and had a hold on it, another told me that "it's a good thing their business doesn't depend on repeat buyers" when I said I wasn't coming back.

(But then she got oddly silent when I mentioned that I'm sure they wouldn't have minded the business of my 6 bridesmaids, my fiance's 6 best men, both mothers and fathers, and all 4 sets of grandparents, plus the two flower girls and the ring bearer!)

All told me it couldn't be cancelled, and they wouldn't buy the dress back, even if I hadn't even taken it from the store. Also, if you don't pay the 2nd half or don't pick the dress up 30 days after it arrives, you forfeit your money and the dress to the store.

I went to 5 more bridal stores - they all sized me at an 8 - in the same designer! None of them could believe that Posie Patch is still in business with the way they treat their customers...but were apparently very familiar with hearing girls complain about them.

I will say that they do tell you that "all sales are final" RIGHT AFTER you swipe your card. And they say nothing about partial payments being considered a full sale. Nor the discrepancy between their receipt saying "no refunds on special order items" and their site saying "no return on special occasion items because you could wear them once and try to return them".
They can't defend that nowhere does it say that they consider their wedding dresses "special order" (Even David's Bridal has that!) - and the only part that says anything about no returnd, refunds, or cancellations on the receipt is the part after they talk about alterations - so it seems like it's referring to the alterations before they have another paragraph at the end of the receipt!

SO - even though they're nice enough to get your money, they'll try to pressure you into ordering the wrong size to make even more money off of you in alterations. Plus, once they even have a little of your money, they will do NOTHING to help you in any little way!
