Everyone visits the Brooklyn Ice Cream Factory in Brooklyn Heights/Dumbo, but I'm a lover of this branch. Not only is it so secluded and removed that you have to make a specific trip to find it, but it's tiny and quaint, with perhaps a lone dog or family outside. There's something so old school about this particular outpost, and a stroll along this strip of North Greenpoint will give you a glimpse of the Boardwalk Empire set's boardwalk, with just a tiny string of lights and a little boardwalk peeking out. Strawberry ice cream tastes somehow more delicious in isolation, walking alone next...
